A message from your Kiwanis International Foundation President 
 
Dear Friends in Kiwanis:
     Happy new Kiwanis year!  On behalf of the Kiwanis International Foundation Board of Trustees, thank you for supporting the children of the world through our foundation.
     This is an exciting time for me as I become the first non-North American president to represent the Kiwanis International Foundation.
     This is also an exciting time for our foundation, which has grown dramatically during the past three years thanks to the strong support of our members.  In fact we awarded grants to support 19 Kiwanis family programs during the last fiscal year.  The generous support of the Kiwanis family helped improve the lives of children in more than 14 districts.
     As of today, The Elimination Project has raised more than US $64.6 million in paid gifts - surpassing our halfway point.  Thousands of Kiwanians have joined the fight to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus - by pledging a gift to The Eliminate Project fulfillment and the Kiwanis Children's Fund.
     Remember, this is your foundation.  Together, we will continue to change children's lives - - in our own hometowns and around the world.
     It is a true pleasure to serve as your Kiwanis International Foundation president.  Again, thank you for your support.
