Boy Scout to Create an Eagle Scout Award At Our Camp

At our July Board meeting, one of the subjects discussed was a request to consider an Eagle Scout Project out at our camp.  The project that was considered was the construction of a Fire Pit that would be attractive and at the same time well built, and not subject to any flood destruction which we had during the last flood.  That project is now going to be done and the Eagle Scout that will be leading it will be our guest from last week - Ezekiel Elizalde from Troop 128 out of Buda.  His mother, Diane Elizalde also accompanied her son last week.  The Club approved  Ezekiel's plans to do this project and will give him $400 to aid him in completing it.  This project will be available to any group utilizing our camp.
