"MOE'S 32ND ANNUAL BETTER HALF MARATHON......Over the last 32 years, Moe's better Half Marathon has evolved into one of the more popular road races in central Texas. Named after San Marcos running guru and race director Dr. Moe Johnson, MBHM is known for its challenging and scenic course and often colorful race management.
The proceeds from this race will benefit Kiwanis charities and scholarships. Remember Kiwanis club members, we need all of you to help out with this race. It will be this coming Sunday morning, March 6th and will start promptly at 7:00am. Those who will be helping are asked to be at Tanger Outlet Mall at 5:30am and bring tables, coolers etc. The packets will be picked up from Core Running Company on Saturday, March 5th, 2015, 10am - 5pm. Awards will be presented to the male and female Overall, Masters (over 40), Senior Masters (50-59) and Grand Masters (60-and over) champions, and to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age division. The awards presentation will be at 9:30a.m.
The award this year will be a mounted print of an original oil painting by Moe Johnson himself. Be sure and get his signature on the print. All registrants will receive a long-sleeved high-tech unisex style T-shirt. All finishers will receive a runner's hat and a ceramic coffee mug.
