"Happy holidays from The Eliminate Project!  At this time of year, we want to thank you for making 2015 extraordinary and for bringing happiness and hope into the lives of millions of families around the world.
In the last year, total funds raised for The Eliminate Project increased by more than $26 million dollars.  Thanks to all our generous donors, those funds will help save or protect more than 14 million women and their future babes from maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT).
We extend our warmest wishes for the holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

Our program last week was supposed to be Suad Hooper from Community Action, but a friend  of hers was in a traffic accident, so Frederick Case, who was to bring Ms Hooper stepped in and gave a very thorough overview of what was coming down from higher up in Kiwanis after Eliminate has finished.  We are so close to meeting our goal for the eliminate Project, Frederick felt that our club needed lo have an idea of what was coming next.
He mentioned the name of I-Plan, which is in the developmental stage of making Kiwanis more visible through our schools and communities.  He also mentioned the giving of backpacks that were provided by TX/OK District at the convention this year.  These backpacks  were stocked with school supplies and taken to DeZavala school to be used in case of emergency.  Frederick stressed  the importance of going to conventions.  The next convention for 2016   will be held in Allen, Texas , August 2016.
