Old Business: The Final budget for 2017-2018 was examined and approved.....Randy presented the final figures on the Pancake/Silent Auction...$9200.00 with all expenses paid. Wonderful!!!....The chartering of a new club in Kyle was discussed, and will take place. (Yay!)....Discussion on new Officer Elections......Put two new fundraisers on hold (Bingo and Casino Nite)......Discussion on another Club Social at the Gristmill in Gruene, Pending. (Next Board Meeting will be on April 26 at 5:00pm)
"Let's Be There for Our K-Kids!
We have a great opportunity to sit in on our K-Kids as they wrap special bags for needy families. They have been planning this and it's going to take place on Thursday morning, April 5th at 8am over art De-Zavala Elementary School. Let's see if we can have four or five members to go and help them out.

March 28, 1979 - - Near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant accident occurred in which uranium in the reactor core overheated due to the failure of a cooling valve. A pressure relief valve then stuck causing the water level to plummet, threatening a catastrophic nuclear meltdown. The accident resulted in the release of radioactive steam into the atmosphere, and created a storm of controversy over the necessity and safety of nuclear power plants.

"America the Beautiful - 'Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum'
The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is a museum focusing on aircraft and nuclear missiles of the United States Air Force. It is located near Ashland, Nebraska, along Interstate 80 southwest of Omaha. The objective of the museum is to preserve and display historic aircraft, missile, and space vehicles and provide educational resources. It is regarded as having one of the top collections of strategic aircraft.
The museum is a $29.5 million, 300,000 square-foot building that features a glass atrium, two aircraft display hangars, a traveling exhibit area, a children's interactive gallery, a 200-seat theater, a museum store, an aircraft restoration gallery, and a snack bar.
