"Special Kiwanis Certificate of Appreciation"
Last Thursday was a joyful day, but also a sad day. Our President Doug presented a special Certificate of Appreciation to Steve Furney as he not only was retiring after 38 years as a Distinguished Professor at Texas State University, sad because Steve is transferring his Kiwanis membership to the New Braunfels Club where he is residing. We will miss Steve very much for all the tasks that he has helped our club with, and especially as Chairman of our membership Committee. He had spent much time in interviewing new members in their homes, and then personally inducting them into our club. We will miss you Steve, but has requested that we continue sending our Bulletin to him each week, which we are very happy to do. Good luck to you Steve in your new endeavors.
