Scholarship Recipient tells how grateful he was to get one of our scholarships.

Jesus Alvarez came to our meeting last week and gave our club a rundown on his high school experiences, and how he had worked hard and despite difficulties in learning a new language managed to make great achievements and graduated with honors. He was one of five students who were awarded a $1,000 scholarship from our club. He will be attending University of Texas in the fall and will be pursuing further studies in the field of Biology.
