It was with great pride and honor that our club warded McBride Wilson,a Certificate of Excellence for his many years in maintaining our Camp Kiwah. McBride has been the prime mover in seeing that our camp has been kept mowed, cleaned, the facilities neat and clean. He has been the prime mover in getting other members of the club eager to help keep the camp that way. This award, in the form of a beautiful plaque, was presented to McBride at our Christmas Lunch Interclub, as a token of deep appreciation for all that he has done not only for the camp but also for our club. As a part of the award went also a renaming of the camp in McBride's honor. This was approved unanimously by our Board of Directors, and was proposed to the board by Lon Shell. From henceforth, the camp will be officially called, "The McBride Wilson Kiwanis Youth Camp." A new sign will soon be made to reflect it's new name.
